Admitted to the Indiana bar, 1978; and admitted to practice before the Indiana Supreme Court, United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana, and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals in Chicago. Graduated from Indiana University 1976 with an Honors Degree in English and second major in Psychology, graduated cum laude from Indiana University School of Law, Bloomington, 1978.
Selected as one of the Best Lawyers in America, 2006 and each subsequent year, in the area of Personal Injury Practice. Active in the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association, and a member of the Board of Directors since 1990. Tom serves frequently as a Judge Pro Tempore in the Lake County Superior Courts and lectures at legal seminars in the area of personal injury practice and insurance issues.
Tom spent the first part of his practice with the firm, Ruman, Clements and Holub, in Hammond, Indiana, where he specialized in trial of injury cases, including product liability and medical malpractice. He left to start his own firm in 2005 to concentrate solely on serious injury cases with an emphasis on personal contact with clients.
